Tredegar House

Set in a beautiful 90-acre park, Tredegar House is one of the best examples of a 17th century Charles II mansion in Britain. The earliest surviving part of the building date back to the early 1500's.

When Newport City Council bought the House in the 1970's, the process began of refurbishing the House. This included in 2006 redoing the entrance to the house with a disabled lift with a new railings and handrail for the main entrance.
