There is no current standard for either wrought iron or traditional forge work and restoration, this can lead to poor quality work and tenders not being on a like for like basis (electrically welded mild steel mass produced components for example instead of ones that are hand made & mechanically fixed) this specification can be used to rectify this problem. (filesize 500KB-about 90 seconds on a 56k modem.)
