Cast iron is well known as the material of the nineteenth century and for its legendary resistance to corrosion. Of course cast iron is still available to us and can be used on its own or in combination with other metals. Castings are created from patterns carved in timber or resin by our highly skilled patternmaker. This process allows for the creation of shapes which would be difficult to forge and the economical production of repetitive designs.
