Design solutions, fabrication and fitting of ridge and roll cappings and cornice cladding complete with pressed copper ornament, crest sculpture 'the Squid' and internal egg and dart moulding. A new system was devised for pressing of ornaments originally intended to be in cast bronze, in sheet copper, with a major saving in expense.

MAIN INTERNAL STAIRCASE BALUSTRADE, AND INTERNAL METALWORK
Design solutions for the balustrades to the main stairs and internal balconies, fabrication and fitting using castings supplied. Also all other internal metalwork comprising floor and ventilation grilles and electrical sockets in cast iron, internal bronze handrailing and external handrails and grilles in puddled wrought iron.
The work was ordered in November 2001 and was installed ready for opening day in May 2002.
