2011 - A 1st, two 2nd’s, a 3rd place, the 'Champion' and ‘Special' awards in the metalwork competition at the Great Yorkshire Show

2010 - Chris Topp is the joint 2010 winner of the blacksmithing prize of the Addy Taylor Cup. Awarded by the British Artist Blacksmiths Association in alliance with the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths for services in establishing the National Heritage Ironwork Group (NHIG) in 2009. 

2010 - A 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize and 'Reserve Champion' at the GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW. 2nd and the 'Reserve Champion' for our Yorkshire Rose external Window fasica, and 3rd for our contemporary staircase piece.

2009 - The Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths - Industrial Diploma of Excellence Award.  The highest award available for blacksmith companies where more than one smith is involved in the construction. (Second time of winning this award)

2009 – St Pauls Cathedral was selected as the overall Project of the Year at this year’s Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – we were involved with this project.

2009 - 2nd Prize at the GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW for a traditionally made pair of wrought iron gates

2008 - 1st Prize in Craftsmanship Team Award run by The York Guild of Buildings for the gates at Weston Park

2008 - We helped Carhart Mansion in New York to win a coveted Architectural Excellence award in producing the ironwork frontage and gates to their new landmark building on Carnegie Hill. Full details click here.

2008 - Commended by the Bath Heritage Group for replica gates made for the Royal Victoria Park

2007 - Wentworth Castle won a Civil Trust Award - we were involved with this project.

2007 - Employee Matthew Dywer awarded a bronze medal by the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths in recognition of his skills as a blacksmith.

2006 - 1st Prize at the GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW for a traditionally made gate

2003 - Copper in Architecture Award for the Queens Gallery.

2001 - The Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths - Industrial Diploma of Excellence Award.

1985 - York and North Yorkshire Society of Architects - Craftsmanship Award for a Metalworker.
